15 minutes of your time

can make a difference.

Remarkable things happen when

parents and other adults spend

at least 15 minutes a day listening

and talking with their kids.

Research shows that kids really

do look to parents, teachers, and

other adults for advice and

guidance about difficult choices.

Take 15 minutes and listen to what your kids have to say about

bullying -- or whatever else is on

their mind. It can't hurt, and who

knows? It might help.

The 15+ Make Time to Listen...Take Time to Talk campaign

is based on the premise that parents who talk with their children about what is happening in their lives are better able to guide their children toward more positive, skill-enhancing activities and friendships.

The campaign provides practical guidance for parents and caregivers on how to strengthen their relationship with their children by spending at least 15 minutes of daily, undivided time with them and focusing on them.
