The Ripple Effect

The hurt caused by bullying can have widespread effects. Likewise, positive actions can cause far-reaching results. Like ripples in a pond, our actions, positive or negative, affect others and sometimes can cause results we may not even know about.

The Cloquet middle school created “The Ripple Effect” as a slogan for its ongoing anti-bullying campaign.

The cure for bullying may be just a stone's throw away. Speaking out against bullying can be like a ripple in a pond. One voice will turn into two and then more. The ripples will spread and have far-reaching effects.
